Water Pump constantly running

Okay so this is a continuation of my last thread.

I’ve got my car starting and running good now but still having water pump activate upon Unlock/Opening of any door. Also running way too long when car is shut off.

I’ve cleaned all the connectors from IBS to oil level sensor water pump etc everything connected to the bus and still getting the codes.

Anything else I can test before I replace my pump?

When one of the 4 components on the BSD is bad, it will take out the other 3. Unplug the components one at a time and see which one's removal fixes the "missing" messages for the others.
Water pump
Oil level/condition sensor
IBS
Alternator

Just took out my connector for the water pump then ran the car. All codes dissapeared for everything else. The connector was also filled with oil. Safe to assume I need to replace the pump?
Only code I got was this one, which I assume is from that connector just being disconnected.

Yes. That is the process for BSD diagnosis that BMW uses in the ISTA test procedure.
Make sure to purchase an OEM or OE pump not any cheap junk and it's a good idea to replace the thermostat when doing the pump, and also only use genuine BMW coolant as it has a special lubricant in it for the water pump seals.

Where is the oil coming from that's in the connector? Is the seal on the connector still intact? Sometimes the oil can cause it to swell and/or split.

Yes I’ve replaced a pump before. Going to go with a kit from FCP. The oil was literally just inside the connector? Doesn’t seem to be leaking anymore or anything or maybe it was just very dirty coolant not sure. Regardless definitely needs replacing and thanks for telling me to do that test.
