Anyone put an E92 335i exhaust onto an E92 325i successfully ?
Just as the title says
I find the rear of my M Sport 325i coupe really boring compared to the front. I have found some very good photos of well priced rear valances fitted to the car in my colour, Le Mans blue, but showing the exhaust tips either side, like fitted standard to the 335i and it really does improve the look and stance of the rear of the car !! So, the valance fits my car, I’ve found a full 335i exhaust system, the only question is, can it be fitted, obviously with a bit of work involved, to my car, has anyone on here done it ? |

all i got after going through it a little "I called them and asked them. They put evap in factory location like 335i driver side. To do this you will need 335i splash guards left and right, 335i evap bracket, storage bin, exhaust sheild, rear 335i rear enforcement bar "hangers are attach to bar". All exhaust hangers, 335i exhaust muffler, and you have cut and weld your mid pipe flange to 335i exhaust mid pipe to fit n52 headers. You also need mtech rear bumper along with diffuser. It's not a cheap swap." "You need to change your floor trunk bucket FIRST and then relocate your charcoal canister. All the 335i models use the short bucket for exhaust clearance, same no matter the submodel. I simply moved my canister 90 degrees and a few inches to the right side. Shop made some simple L brackets and they were done. However the end of my pipes do not have mufflers. You need to put your car on the lift and see how much clearance your have with the Dinan mufflers on. If you have less clearance you will need to move it close to the center and in front of the bucket. If you need to move it a considerable amount you will need fittings and extensions. Start with an exhaust test fit. IF your rear bumper does not have dual exits you need to remove your rear bumper." Last edited by STATIC A$TRO; 01-26-2024 at 12:36 PM.. Reason: found more info |
