Been shopping around for a new vehicle to replace the wife’s 2016 x3 and got the ad for the new 2024 redesigned Santa Fe. WOW! They knocked it out the park with this new design. Never thought we would like a hyundai so much 😂

Isn’t it interesting how much they emulate BMW? Their interior displays in particular are very BMW-ish and have been for a while. This looks like no one wanted to work with the clay model so they just said just cut it straight with a knife.

I do see a lot of BMW/ Land Rover on the interior and exterior. Part of the appeal for me is the boxy design (g87 owner &#128514, you either love it or hate. These will probably fly off the lots like the KIA telluride in the US market

Typically ugly new car. All manufactures are doing this style now.

Lego fans rejoice though

Yeah this faux butch look is everywhere and the name makes no fucking sense, the Santa Fe was mid size, this is fucking massive. And still no integrated screen. People rag on the Alfa interior but the bloody screen is integrated!

The Tucson moved into the size slotted by the original Santa Fe. I'm sure they have another CUV on the way. Wonder what happens to the Palisades now that this is being released.

Can he really be called an automotive "designer" when clearly all that's been done is to copy a Defender on the outside and an IKEA showroom on the inside?

Like most SUVs—-this looks goofy and overdone.

Interior isn’t copying anyone it’s the same generic idea of a giant screen that everyone does now because they have all run out of imagination.

Hyundai/Kia are making some of the best looking cars on the market. I realy dig the Ioniq6

Say what you will, at least this looks unique.

Like many Hyundais I don't envision this aging well. They jump from trend to trend, with little design continuity between most generations. The wheel wells throw the proportions off because they don't look level, which is doubly weird since the rest of the lines are so straight. I see cars like the first gen Veloster, 2010-15 Sonata, even the new Elantra, etc everyday and they look so old already. Meanwhile the Mk6 GTI, 2013-16 Accord, etc still look pretty fresh.

This looks like a Chinese clone of a Land Rover Defender, with a G wagon rear end.

The ioniq 6 is the most offensive vehicle on the road today. It literally looks like a dog squatting to take a shit. It's like they saw a '10's era CLS and decided "yes that upward beltline looks good, lets make it bigger".

Seeing this post gave me cancer. This is why I see more ugly kia/hyundai pieces of shit on the road.

Looks like a Ford Flex. And that's not a good thing.

I see that it doesn't have a rear bumper. That seems to be a trend in the industry now. Bumpers are useful; they protect expensive sheet metal from damage in low speed crashes. After a little research it seems that SUV's are exempt from the 2.5 MPH Federal Bumper Standard.
