N54 running lean?? Change O2's?
Hello I have a 2008 bmw 335i that I have installed vrsf downpipes, chargepipe, BOV, intercooler on the way, intakes, (with maintenance of course) and running stage 2 tune until the intercooler gets here but I’ve noticed that if I scan my car through MHD it shows me these following codes,
29E0-DME:mixture control 2AB4-DME: DME, internal fault: check RAM checksum 2C6A-DME: Oxygen sensor 2 swapped 2C6C-DME: Oxygen sensor 2 system check 2C7F-DME: Lambda control 2 2F8F-this was because I did a small burnout lol That’s the codes it pops up it, its only given me a CEL after a long 200mile trip and I cleared it and it went away and after a while it’ll come back but without the CEL and it hadsn’t poped up since till now. I have a feeling it might be the 2F8F code because that’s a new code but I read that it appears after doing a burnout, but what had a me worried is the 2AB4 code because that’s new as well and I cleared it and it hasn’t popped back up. The other codes also worry me because, am I dumb and actually swapped the o2? Should I switch it back and see what it does? Is it the tune? Are my o2’s out? This car has 157,000 miles on it and the trans fluid also needs a flush but I need to know which one to do first and if my O2’s are really going out, if anyone could help me, I also have logs that show AFR’s pretty lean in a WOT 3rd gear pull but I don’t know how to post them🥶 If anyone could help that would be great, thanks👍 |
