My 2011 E90 N55 has the usual waste gate rattle but it seems really bad to me but this is my first 335i so I'm not sure honestly, l'm making very little boost max 2psi at 4-5k rpm definitely doesn't seem right. Was wondering if anyone had some info on whether it's possible for the wastegate to be leaking that much? I'm getting the boost solenoid(pressure converter) changed and smoke tested for leaks next week but I got that feeling in my stomach it might not fix the issue. Btw not a single code has popped up. Also should mention the engine just got a forged rebuild currently have driven 200 miles on in it perfectly fine. I attached a data log I took, first time doing this so I’m not sure if I did it right or not but hopefully it can give you guys an idea of what could be going on. Any help is appreciated! 🙏🏼

It almost sounds like you have a vacuum leak for the waste gate. I once left the main vacuum tube disconected that goes across the top of the engine. My engine did the same thing minus the rattle. If you have no vacuum to control then the gate can just flap around.
