Stock Exhaust Burbles between Shifts

Hey guys, just wanted to confirm if the G87 has the exhaust crackle sound between shifts (MT) like the G80 does?

I know its probably fake but i actually like that sound on the G80 and am looking at switching to a G87

Yep all the burbles are there in sport and sport+ modes, between shifts, etc., and of course giving the throttle that little tap when coasting in neutral towards a red light

Does anyone notice an "overrun brap" type noise on downshifts? It's different than the burbles and pops sounds. I hear this type of sound when I downshift my 6mt at high revs....for example, downshifting into 2nd around 50 MPH I hear it. "Overrun brap" is a feature that you can code in with a flash tune like MHD. The sound would kick on after releasing the throttle after a pull, but not associated with a gear shift. I had this on a previous car, toyed around with it for a while but turned it off as I didn't like added noises from the tune.

Maybe it's just part of the experience with the auto rev matching of the 6mt but still curious if others notice it.

Can’t say I’ve identified the overrun brap but it should be there, I think.

I wish there was a way to adjust duration of burbles like the MHD controls, but natively within the car settings. (Also wish we could disable cold start).

If your referring to when the transmission auto rev matches on down shifts by revving the engine up just prior to the gear engaging it does this with the automatic as well and has all kinds of pops and burbles right after doing so. Especially on setting 3 on the trans.

Ah yes, I do miss the flexibility of the MHD flash tune from my previous car. Disabling the cold start was one of my favorite features and I'm sure my neighbors appreciated it too. I was running a catless DP and axleback MP exhaust so it was way loud during the cold start.

What do you mean with ,,giving the throttle that little tap when coasting in neutral towards a red light‘‘?
