Thoughts of a new air intake on a diesel BMW

I was looking at getting a new ram or cold air intake (not sure what which one it is) for my bmw. But the thing is my bmw is diesel not petrol like most and I know that it won’t sound as good as a petrol. I am wondering if I do get the new intake will it make the car/turbo sound better or will it just make the diesel engine sound like a louder diesel (if that make sense).
Thanks

That is a picture of the intake I was looking at getting for anyone wondering

I can't speak for the 320d, but I have an e70 x5d with the M57 engine (same as the e90 335d), and can 100% attest that a short intake like this just cranks up the "dieselness" of the engine. More whistle, more turbo noises, etc. I don't think there's a way to make a diesel engine sound like a petrol engine - they are just very different beasts.

Yeah ok thanks for the answer. I don’t mind it if the dieselness is louder just want the car/turbo to sound better/louder.
