E84's rear strut for E90?
Hi guys
I am new to this group. Wanted to know whether the old x1’s (E84) rear struts can be fitted on E90 320d? I am looking to enhance comfort. Thinking that x1’s rear struts might have more travel and if fitted on e90, the ride may get smoother enough. Please help me if anyone have any idea on doing this. Thanks |

I don't think so. Dinan rear mounts will give you more travel or you could switch to Z4 bump stops. Koni yellows or new OE shocks ride very well, probably about as good as you;re going to get on this platform. Especially if you run 17" wheels

Hii.
I tried installing rear struts from E84 on my e90 and I found what I was looking for. Rear feels more soft than before. Thanks guys for your valuable opinions. Sorry for the late reply as I forgot my user id and password 😣 |
