I don't understand why BMW even offer the red taillight for E90 to begin with.

I am happy with what I've got, considering I never see it in action - unless I'm behind another E90. No big deal for me, maybe because of my black car.

I prefer the standard clears. But the blacklines look good on certain colours, ie SG.
I have not seen any E90's in the UK yet with blacklines. |

I bought the blacklines a few weeks ago but then I started feeling on the fence about the look.
I still got em here in the box but not feelin ready to install. I'm starting to think they look best with larger wheel / tire set up and I don't plan to go that route right now. What do you guys think I should do?

I think both look nice, and if I really felt the need to make my car look different from other e90's, then I might consider blacklines. However, I'm happy with stock for now.
Then again, looking different from other e90's isn't a problem here. Since the e90 went on sale, I've seen a grand total of 4 on the roads (not including mine). I have a silver 330i, and the ones I saw were a de-badged AW, 330xi SG, 325i black, and 325xi black. There are 6 or 7 e90's on the dealership's lot, but that's it for ones I've seen in person. My SA even said that she hadn't sold a silver one before, and only knew of one other TiAg sold at the dealership and that was sold to someone in New Brunswick (Halifax BMW is only BMW dealership east of Quebec, so most everyone from NB, PEI, NFLD, and NS get theirs in Halifax).

i did not vote. I love both and I love the E90 taillamps much more than my Benz and much more than E46 , more than E92.

It depends on the color of the E90/91. They look the best on the darker cars and they look like they were made for SG's. For lighter colors, the stock lights look better IMO. The white of the blacklines doesn't have the same effect on the rear end as they do on the darker cars.

Reason I went with blackline is the amber signals for the rear, with red color it's not visible during day time and it's a safety feature.
