I am new among you, I have a 2012 E90 320d 184hp vehicle. It has the most basic sound system with 6 speakers. The subwoofers are 6.5 inches, will they work without an amplifier if I upgrade them to 8 inches? Thank you for your help.

If you are going to upgrade the system you will need and amplifier
and better speakers and you must split the parallel connection between
the front doors and floors and put them on different channels .
This is described in the Post I gave to you earlier and one I have put up
hundreds of times now.
Recently trying to upgrade speakers without the split or an amp having problems due to this.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately, there is no place that can do this job where I am. That's why I just want to replace the speakers myself. I ordered the Match up X4BMW FRT3 model for the rear shelf. Currently, the speakers are weak. Currently, plug-and-play amplifiers are very expensive, so I was wondering if the stock tape recorder would make the subwoofer work if I installed a 20 cm subwoofer without an amplifier.
