Electrical issue with BMW e90 320d
Hi everyone! Hope you all doing well.
Long story short, a few days ago i drove over a pothole and the right rear shock absorber has gone up. I have now replaced it and that isn't an issue anymore. When it happened though, it snapped a few wires which are connected to the distribution box on top of the battery. This caused the car to show an endless amount of lights. Yesterday after work I decided to put the wires back together and of course seal them with electric tape. (Pretty straight forward as all wires have different colours). Prior to me fixing this, the issues were: - Air bag light continuosly on. - All the other other lights would randomly show up. - Car didn't want to start up once. Anything else was working fine. Issues after sorting the wires: - Air bag light still on. - Right rear door light stating it's open, when it's not. - Yellow lift with car on top. - windows not working. - Indicators not working. - Cabin lights and door handle lights not working. - Hazard lights are not working. Now, the car drives fine, I am 100% sure that wired it correctly but those issues have shown up. I've checked a few fuses that seemed related to some of the issues and they seem fine. Could it be the distribution box? I am pretty sure someone's been through a similar issue and just want to find what is the issue. Just to add, battery is in good condition and it was disconnected while I was sorting the wires out. Help😂 - |
