other model OE brake swap on 328i

hi guys i was looking to possibly upgrade my brakes with a higher model BMW OE or OEM, inspired by Al / Biginboca / IG @328CSL F30 435i brake swap.

has anyone done a similar swap that easily bolts on? i think Al’s looks awesome and I wanted just a bit more bite and stopping power but nothing crazy. i am on a bone stock e90 328i after all.

thanks

330i front brakes would be the easiest as you can reuse your existing calipers. Just need the 330i caliper brackets and rotors.

I did this on my E90 and it made a noticeable difference

Stock 335i calipers/rotors are your best (and cheapest) option, however I personally would recommend new rotors, performance pads, and brake line upgrades before anything else. You’ll see an entirely new level of braking performance by upgrading these alone

Granted, you could also pick up some 335i calipers and rotors, then proceed to upgrade pads and lines as well!

i read somewhere that 330 and 335 have the same brakes? is this true? if not, i read that if i wanted to do all 4 corners with 335 then do i somehow need to mod the parking brake?

Pads look the same from part numbers too, so just 330i rotors and caliper brackets?

I installed f82 m4 brake calipers and 380mm m4 rotors with seems legit garage adapters and their upgraded brake lines.

It was bolt on, like in their videos. If you can do a brake job, you can do the swap

Do someone know if there's a bracket for those 17z/18z brembo 6 pistons caliper?

They can be found super cheap since they came on cayenne and touareg, tons available at scrap yards. Got mine for 150$, and installed it on my audi.

could be great if I can fit it on my E90 since I can get a set got cheap. and they pop up often on market.

Yup, same pads. Very low effort upgrade but it can be difficult to source the 330i caliper brackets nowadays

If you want better braking performance, get better pads, change your fluid, maybe SS brake lines for better feel.
For looks, everything else.

For mild OEM upgrade, 335i brakes are easy and compatible swap.

i changed from 328 to 335 brakes, OEM rotor and brembo neo pads. 115k calipers, so quite low mileage.

New fluid (bleeded under pressure)

ista brake pump procedure.

And this is not impressive at all compared to my F25 or other my cars.

Then Ive added SS line, and this change nothing.

Hard to explain the feeling, but like a cheap car feeling, unpredictable-ish, accent/Chevrolet cobalt. At high speed I dont have ''confidence''. Normally Im not scared about brake checker ( slow ass on left lane) , but with this setup I wont push left lane huggers.

I'd say it's the pads. I have 335i setup too and made a mistake of going with Brembo rotors and ceramic pads. I can't wait to wear them out.
OEM pads would win and good aftermarket track pads would be better still, but with a tonof brake dust.

maybe, but I rock them on my audi, and the audi got the best ''confident'' feeling. I tried 3 sets, to end up with Brembo Neo, I was tired of dust and turns out it brake good.

Ill might try OEM, or classic Hawk HPS.

But before looking for a set of pads, Ill try to get my hands on a F30 335/430 caliper set.
You know, while I'm there
