E9x non-M subframe to M3 subframe

I am going to start replacing all my lower rear control arms and refurbishing my subframe and undersealing. I was wondering whether it would be worth upgrading the whole rear subframe, control arms and hub to m3 parts and whether it’s possible and bolts on to the same place as a non m e90.

I assume if the m3 rear subframe bolts on in the same place that it should be as easy as a new subframe and m3 hub and control arms? Only other issue I could see is if maybe the diff mounts are in a different place which would mean a new prop.

Is it worth it and is it possible to do without doing any work onto the chassis?

It all bolts on but...

The rear hub mounts are different on the M3 and have a different control arm length so if you use the 335i brakes then you will need an adjustable toe arm. I believe the toe arm has to be longer than the M3 one.

See this thread and surely other threads. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=939000

There is a good 1addicts thread on this.

If you use the M3 rear brakes then it is all bolt on but you would probably want to also use the M3 front brakes with them and use the M3 master cylinder.
