e90 Alarm Coding

I just installed the factory alarm system in my 09-335i. It works really well after coding. I do have one interesting issue that I have not been able to resolve. When I lock the car, I get the double chirp and the lights flash. When I unlock, I only get the single chirp and the lights do not flash.

My car does not have I-drive and I have changed the settings in both the DWAI module as well as from the stalk. Here is a copy of my DWAI settings. Any thoughts would be welcome.

I would suggest downloading NCS Dummy if you don’t already have it. It provides in-app translations for all of the most common functions.

The way it works is you pull your trace file using NCS Expert, load it into NCS Dummy, make your changes in the app, export/save the modified trace file, and then use NCS Dummy to write it back to the module.

Someone might have a quick answer for you on this, but I also suspect you’ll be able to find the offending value if you load your trace file into NCS Dummy.
