Bimmerworlds unusual policy.

I live in Canada and ordered a clutch kit from Bimmerworld. To take advantage of their free shipping to 48 states I requested it be shipped to a parcel service where I have an account in Washington. They advised me this would not be possible as the shipping address differed from my home address which the credit card is connected to (despite my providing them with my home/card connected address). They did offer to accept my payment through a Paypal invoice but I wanted to get the points credit through my card use. I've ordered many auto parts from the US under this arrangement and not encountered this previously. Not impressed and unlikely to attempt another purchase with Bimmerworld. Anyone else had a negative experience with this outfit?

Pretty normal to not allow shipment ot address other than payment billing address. Sounds like they gave you the option to do PayPal to get around that which is all you need.

same policy from speedtech (and many other), however, even if they have this red warning on their website, I was able to order and got the parcel.

They want to be sure they dont get scammed, simply email them.

Why not pay with Paypal, and then have your Paypal account charge your credit card, and earn your points that way?

I read that merchants receive payment from card company within 1-3 business days. How would they be getting scammed?
