Gtechniq review

All, I DO NOT POST REVIEWS for exterior products unless I have tested them. I bought my X5 in March 24. I did a full decon wash, limited polishing and used Gtechniq's crystal serum light/exo5 combo ceramic coatings. I am beyond impressed. Those combinations are holding up wonderfully @ 4mos whereas other "reputable" coatings have started to fail. Of course, prep and maintenance must be done, but if you are looking for a quality coating combo I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Please name a "reputable" coating that started to fail after 4 months. It was not applied correctly. Gtechniq is good tho yes.

If ya do that googly thing there is quite a bit of information. If you have a preferred ceramic that you use, do share. I will googly it also.

Thanks to the great community here, and the time I spent reading all the opinions offered, I had purchased the mohs before my car was delivered to me. A couple days after it came home, I put my first ceramic coating on a car, and I am so impressed. After 50 years of using paste wax on cars, this was so much easier, at least on a brand new car that I only did a chemical clean and clay bar, but no paint correction. It's only been a month and a half, but I've washed it numerous times just to see the water jump off the paint.
I am so impressed and have offered to help (mostly show) my friends how to do this to their cars. I have no worries about it's longevity from all the comments in this Bimmer world, and it being garage kept and not driven very much, it'll be fun to see how long it lasts.

Gyeon was also on my short list. I do use wetcoat on wheels and front fascia. A little goes a long way.

After reading all the threads on this forum about ceramic coatings and watching way too many youtube vids I chose Gtechniq Crystal serum light for my first foray into ceramics.
Super impressed, have been a Mothers wax guy for 40 yrs but this stuff is in another league, would have not tried this without all the opinions and experience of the guys on this forum.

Have to agree- Posted a review on this forum based on my review experience with application and since of Gyeon One ceramic coating. Which is their entry level coating for the DIY community. It’s been fantastic - I’m sure MOHS and Pure are above and beyond.
Ceramic coatings have come a long way especially in the DIY category
