Ignition Coil Part Number 151201HL?
I have a 06 E90 325i. Bought in in 2018, I just replaced my spark plugs for the 4th time last week. Turned out it wasn’t the plugs. More likely the coils. I never really paid attention to the coil until the plugs weren’t the problem. Now that I was investigating them I noticed there isn’t any branding on them, just a couple numbers. I have done a massive google search to find the brand of any that was in the car when i bought it, cause i’m a curious person. I have called several places, and they don’t have a clue who could have manufactured them. But if any one had ever seen the numbers 151201HL on a coil. Or even HL as a indicator on a part, please let me know. It would give me a piece of mind of what coils were used in replacement of the OEM, if they aren’t OEM (which i feel like they aren’t, cause when i bought the car they had autolite plugs in them). I’m sure if I haven’t been able to locate a brand using Google, chances may be slim to get an answer, but any luck would be much appreciated!
I’ll drop some photos for a visual reference. Thank You! |

Looks like some shitty aftermarket coil. Just get Delphi or Eldor as a replacement.
