Can these wheels fit on M850i

Does anyone known if these wheel specs will fit on a 2020 M850I, bone stock not lowered?
-20x10 +12 front
- 20x11 +14 rear
- 285/30/20 front
- 305/30/20 rear

Thank you in advance.

I haven’t done the circumference sums but presumably you are aware you need to be really careful if you have AWD.

I can guarantee you that wont work on the M850i. Way too wide in the front and way to far out on the overall circumference.

Anyone do a 19" up front and 20" out back set up? Was thinking of going that route for the potholes here in NJ.

Any idea what are the % ranges that is acceptable?

Not specifically but they need to be very, very similar.

I believe I have seen ‘less than 1% different’ on this forum but others will have more specific knowledge than me.

Unfortunately I have a friend who was very generously given two new tyres for her 4x4…suffice to say it very quickly ended up being uneconomical to repair the transmission system.

It’s around 1% so 285/295 for example and it’s using tire diameter. Circumference is important for Speedo readout. That doesn’t matter for Xdrive but will for accurate mileage readings and police if your going 65 via Speedo and it’s actually 70 lol

I'm not 100% sure but I assume that circumference should work. You should have a little room to move with that wide tire up front on a 9"rim. I know people have been able to fit the M8 wheels up front with a 285 on it. They completely max the front fender well out.

With factory fenders, you can only do 9.5 up front, and you'll want offset around et 23 or 24. Highest will be et 25 before your tire rubs the steering knuckle.

For rear, you have a lot of room. I'm running 305/30/20 et 40 though I should have gone et 44 or so kn my 20x10.5.

Think you need to look at 255/35 for the front. Right now your rears are 2.7% taller.

I'm also running 32 offset on a 9" front. Seems pretty flush. A 25 will be fairly aggressive, IMO.

My rear set-up brought me out 15mm. Again, pretty flush. Yours will get you out almost 21mm from OEM.

Just my $0.02

I just did the calculations on these specs and the height numbers are super close to stock will the offsets be an issue?

Did you mean 20x9.5 and 20x10.5?

Anyhoo, I put my M5 705M wheels on my M850. The front spec had a 9.5" with a 26 offset. I went 19mm closer on the inside (very snug) and came out 19mm more. I didn't like the look. It was a 265 tire. You will come out 22mm.

The rear spec was 10.5" with a 28 offset. I went only 6mm closer on the inside, but came out 32mm. Here is the view looking straight down.

Too much poke. Looked dopey. Your setup will bring you 13mm closer on the inside (my current wheels actually brought me in 23mm closer, so plenty of room if you go bigger on the offset) but, you come out 25mm. I only came out 15mm, not sure I'd want anymore. I have a 45 offset, whereas you are proposing only 36. I would go with a larger offset if it were me. I'm only on 295s though, your 305s will pick up another 5mm toward the inside and another 5mm poke from my setup.

I actually meant 19" I wanted to go down to 19" to have more tire and sidewall. The roads are really bad in NJ

they won't fit, will have problems with poking out too much. for 850i you need something like 9j +25 front and 10.5j +35 rear, same spec as on G30. DM me i'll send you contact for good wheels sellers, if you need
