Long story short I have a 323i 09 e90 in Australia it has 1 disa but the mounts for a second disa and the plug for it too are there, I want to dremel out the hole and fit another oem small disa, will doing this turn my intake manifold into a 3 stage? Or is there more on a 3sim, its an n52b25 I believe the 3 sims are on a 330i? The n52b30?

Am I on the right track can I make a 3 sim and get more power from my current manifold or will I have to get another intake manifold off of a 330i and fit it again, would that even work because of the bore size I believe one is 2.5mm and the other is 3.0mm,

It's not ideal to use a manifold from a n52b30 because the intake runners are a different size to the n52b25.

If you're not confident modiying your manifold, you can get a used one from a 325i. The Australian 325i came with a 3 stage manifold.

Is there any difference between buying a 3sim off a 325i and modifying the one I have, adding another disa to the manifold I have will turn it into a 3 stage or is there something I’m missing?, Id have the exact same outcome would I not?

They would be exactly the same. I just thought i would mention the other option in case you're not confident in modifying your one.

You just have to be very careful when creating the hole for the new disa, especially the surface where the seal sits.

Trueee yes I’ll make sure to be careful if I do go through with it, are you positive the intake manifold on all Australian 325i is a 3 sim, I may consider going down to a wrecker or I’ll try find one in good nick on Facebook
