For those wanting to make your ambient lighting more visible in the e92 doors I found a way to use the oem ambient lighting and add to it. If you open your door panels and locate your ambient lighting strip all you have to do is pull out the old clear plastic cylinder shaped tubes and disconnect them from their light emitting recepticle and connect these aftermarket clear tubes designed to wedge into the door seems. After connecting them to the oem light source take the strips and drill a tiny hole that pierces the inside of the door panel outward and pull the new clear tubes through that hole and wedge them into the seams and trim them down to your desired length and location. This method guarantees a spot on color match the the interior lighting and suprisingly they do a great job of sending light all the way through the tubes.
