Windshield Replacement ???

When you get your windshield replaced what happens to the state inspection and registration stickers? Do you have to pay to have a new inspection done? I pretty sure you can just pay to replace the registration sticker.

Most of the time the windsheild guy will try and peel it off to stick on the new glass. The last couple of times I had a windsheild replaced they actually did a pretty good job. I guess if you do it all day an dhave a wide, sharp razorblade, it is possible.

I imagine that different states might be harder than others depending on exactly the makeup of their stickers though.
