Cleaning Clear Bra 101
Here is how to properly apply clear bra.
1. Clean the area by claying or other cleaner you want to use. * Note Must clean off any wax before installation. You can use the alcohol solution to remove any wax or silicone. Use a lint free towel to dry area removing all lint the best you can. 2. Perform installation in a cool environment 60-90 degrees such as a garage away from sunlight. 3. Prep solution with 1 spray bottle with .05 or a couple of drops of baby shampoo aka slip solution. No other soap can be used! The other bottle will contain isopropyl rubbing alcohol mixed with water. 1 Part alcohol and 2 parts water. 4. Have all of your materials in place ready for installation. Have 2 spray bottles, squeegee, and film ready. 5. Clean your hands right before applying so not to transfer dirt to film. 6. Wet the hood liberally with the slip solution 7. Wet your fingers before touching the film so that there are no finger prints on the film. Peel film with wet fingers and secure the film with your thumb on the outer edge first. Then unroll until all the way across to the other side. Leave the film rolled up to avoid getting film dirty. The kit comes with fender film that you can apply first and use as a reference point to align the top of the hood film. 8. Position the film around the Roundel first and then squeegee from the roundel out. About 6 inches all the way around will do. 9. Once roundel is secured, start squeegee up and out. 10. Secure the bottom first before the top to align the edges. Leave about a 1/8 inch from the bottom unless you want to get really close. Keep in mind that you may have to stretch the film to align the top with the fender film tabs. 11. Squeegee outward until you get to the bend in the hood. You will see that the film will gap up. Not to worry since you can stretch the film. 12. While holding on to the film with one hand and applying a slight stretch, use the other hand to squeegee over the hump to get the gapping out as well as aligning the botton edges. 13 Use a downward motion once over the hump to get rid of all of the gaps. 14. You may have to stretch to get the film to the outer edge next to the fender. Squeegee outward and you are done with that side. Repeat on the other side. 15. You may have to peel the film to get the placement right and no worries. Just be careful not to stretch the material pulling it up. Use lots of slip solution to keep things wet and lubricated. 16. You may see some gapping once the film is applied. This is where the alcohol soultion will be used to squirt into the gap and squeegee out until the gap or hump is gone. You can use your finger if they are small enough. They will go away. 17. Leave you car to dry atleast for a couple of hours. I would recommend doing this at night and letting it to dry overnight.

Here are some other pics of the front bumper, mirror, door handle, rear top bumper, headlight and foglight. I did all the install myself and saved quite a bit of money!
