Hi all

Followed some instructions here to backup and replace M3 E90 CIC Hdd from IDE PATA to SSD Hdd ( 44pins ) both.

I successfully clone the image using Paragon Partition Manager 15 but the same image will work only on another same 80gb IDE PATA Hdd but not SSD also with 44pins..no jumpers on the SSD hdd.

Still, happy to be able to have a backup in case the hdd decides to go on a holiday but does anyone else not have success too and can share solution please ?

This adapter will convert your SATA SSD to an IDE and give it the master/slave selector that IDE normally has to determine its location on the IDE Cable.
