09 335i. 2.76 lbs boost

2 different obd dashboards. torque pro and car scanner. car scanner was with Kia profile, so it may only be looking for vacuum-only MAP reading. i have a cheapie with hose coming from amazon. so i can double check soon. just gonna hook it up and run out hood and into window. these are oil-bushing turbos? not ball bearing? so if turbo were bad i would be getting symptoms? noise, smoke etc? is there a limpish default boost a diverter valve or boost control may set at? i am in the process of tryna get acceptable software for a backyard a-hole who is fairly capable.

ok, got 30 buck amazon boost gauge. hooked to diverter control hose and strung it in the window. 6 lbs boost and my torque app says 2.76. i am pretty sure that number is a default as it doesn't even go to 2.75. so it may be what natural aspirated maf's top out at or something.

Get the MHD OBD adapter along with the MHD app, you should be able to check if you have any codes / shadow codes and use the MHD monitor to see accurate readings.

Besides that, check your vacuum lines are in good condition and you can also test your boost solenoids with a vacuum gauge to see if that's the issue.

Good luck!
