In my 2008 E90 I recently came across an issue where I’ll put the key in put the car neutral with the brake and clutch pressed all the way down and it won’t crank. every time I hit the start button a yellow! Shows up on my screen. I’ve looked up a couple of opinions and some people were saying that the key battery might be dead or A fuel pump fuse is preventing the car from starting. however, the key works and has power as well as the cars battery since everything turns on. and I could hear the fuel pump turning on as soon as I hit the start button, but there is absolutely no crank or any attempt for a crank. does anybody else have this issue?

Hi there, does the starter even engage and try to crank over?
If not obviously an electrical issue?
