Taking delivery when SA absent?
Hi all,
Is there any particular downside to picking up the car on the day SA is not available (thus delegating to another colleague)? For someone reasons I strongly prefer a day he is not in. Thanks for any thoughts you might have. |

Unless there is something you want an explanation on I don't think it matters one way or the other.

Just have the dealer’s BMW Genius explain the car functionality to you instead of a salesman.

I would wait for my salesman as he/ she has skin in the game if there are any issues. The BMW Genius would be useless if there are any problems and simply pass the buck to someone else.

Thank you all. These are all good points to consider. I think I will wait to take delivery while SA is available, but I do realize there aren't significant concerns if own SA is not present.
