ECU was trashed on a 128i n52 i just picked up cheap due to no start issues. I know years ago most just bought a used ecu+key+lock+ews set. I see there's some flash immo bypass options out there now but then you still get missmatched vins

any pros/cons to either way? I have a used 328i auto ecu that came with the car from about the same build month/year but obviously it wont fire up due to the ews / vin isssues

original ecu is gone, the shop threw it away...

Update the donor ecu via winkfp yr vin.And then delete imo

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. Driving e82, e72, e85, R53 Gone but not forgotten.. 1974 2002, many various 3s.
