Superknock code explanation? (30ED)

Hi.

I’m looking for a technical explanation of superknock codes and what parameters need to be met in order to trigger a super knock code for E90 N54 (MSD80) and what actions the ECU executes to protect engine when this condition is detected.

I believe there’s more than just “Pulls timing”

The more details the better. Thanks
