Playing Test Tones Safely?
So I’ve got a 09’ 335d with individual audio. I just installed a NVX VCW10” sub with NDA12001 sub + LC2i Pro + Technics harness.
It sounds amazing, I’m honestly blown away. I’ve set the gains by ear mostly so far. I tried playing a 40hz -10db test tone to properly set the sub amp gain with a multimeter but I’m afraid to play it too long or turn it up much. Starts making popping noises from atleast the center speakers so doesn’t seem like a good idea. Is there anyway to easily isolate the signal to my sub amp, short of unplugging every speaker? |
