So I wanted to start out with screenshots to tell my issue.

After 2 1/2 months of trying to fix/recode on my own, I am about to just send the DME out for repair if possible.
It all started on 12/2/24....

I have successfully coded my other bmw before so I decided to take this one on to try to Calibrate the used SZL. Then I needed to get rid of the new yellow flashing AIRBAG ON PASSENGER light error on the ceiling.
I decided to use ISTA P and let it update it's selection of my modules. Overnight. With a regular maintenance charger (at least on 10A).

You guessed right that it did not last the night. One day, the car ran, and the next it wouldn't start. INpa showed that only the JBBF, CAS, and MRS modules updated, but nothing else.
I soon learned that the DME was affected. It lost programming, but still retains some info.
I have searched hundreds of threads. I did get rid of the AIRBAG error.
I tried NCSexpert. No communication. I tried default coding back the CAS. Then tried to sync it with the DME. Inpa gave the falure error.
I though it was the immobilizer and tried to look at and edit the Cas trc file.
I don't really understand some of the parameters and options. But then I compared it to a fresh CAS Trace read from my other BMW. I edited it and then tried to write it to the CAS. It didnt take a few times. I kept trying and finally it did.
Still could not sync.
At first during the diagnosis phase, the fuel pump stayed on during ignition, and the starter cranked. But no start. I did get a power supply and a new battery.
First I replaced the relays in the Ebox. I tested the old ones, and 3 of 4 did click.

Also, tried to Flash the DME with Winkfp and dabbled with Tool32 and coding tool. The flash didn't work. I did learn that to read the dME in Inpa, I had to have the ignition on.

After all the ignition attempts, I think the key has become unsynced with the CAS. The DME has not fired since, and only the fuel pump comes on and the starter stopped cranking. I also have since lost communication with the EGS, AMP, RLS, RDC but did eventually get the DME and MRS to at least show back up for now.

I did check fuses but I'm going to do it again as well as check around the JBBF, even though it shows up green in the Ista tree.
I also thought to compare my trc files with those of my other bimmer--also a 2006 325xi, but it has a few more options, way more miles,(280,000 mi), and may need a trans rebuild. (I have replaced the seals, fluid, mechatronix and solenoids a few times...) But I did see some differences between their files and made changes to my trc/man files. But that didn't work either. So, we also checked voltages

and then remembered I could use INPA for that. Finally saw that Terminal 50 was not working properly.

Immobilizer plausible?

I have been working with the CAS module the most, since I cannot reach the DME with OBC or don't know how to.

So, do I keep trying to plug away at it? Or does someone see something I don't that will point me to the right decision? I have worked long enough on this I'm afraid, outside in cold weather...
