Will Manual 330I tranny fit into 328I?

Hi,

I recently purchased a complete manual transmission conversion kit from a 2006 E90 330i, including the diff and driveshaft.

I want to swap it into my 2008 E92 328i.

The manual E90 330i has an S6-37BZ transmission, while the manual 328i has an S6-17BG.

I noticed that the driveshafts have different part numbers for some reason (part 26-10-7-560-156 for the manual E90 330i and part 26-10-7-572-907 for the manual E92 328i).

Also, I heard that a diff from a 328i won't fit into a 330i.

Will this S6-37BZ unit bolt onto my 328i? If so, what kind of driveshaft will I need (I want to keep my auto 328i diff)? Does anyone have similar experience?

Thank you.
