Three years ago I rebuilt my E91 Sport suspension

fast forward to 2024/25 winter.....Brrr cold and snow has made a return to N.E. last week I hit a nasty pot hole and blew out my right rear, I went with Sachs OEM ro match the springs and the car rides great but I am debating going to B6 kit. The car is low enough on OEM Springs. No need to go coilovers I have them on one of my E30's and I never move them so I know I will be in the same boat with the wagon.

The B8's and the B6 are like the old HD vs Sports same valving but different travel length from what I am reading.

I'm not blown away by the B6's on my current E91. I had them on an AWD E91 before and they were amazing, but on my RWD wagon, they're just harsh. I think the suspension calibration is different RWD/AWD, and also I've got the sport package on my RWD wagon so there's less travel, maybe I should have gone with B8s.

Either way, I'm considering going back to OEM, I'm getting tired of the bumpiness. Its gotten to where I almost *want* to drive my wife's Highlander just for the smoother ride.

Oh that is not promising, used to be a thriving community of BMW folks out here in Western Mass when CCA gtg happened now with internet nobody goes to events anymore it seems. Would love to try before I drive.
