NBT HU Bench setup
I'm trying to set up a NBT HU on the bench to code. It's from a 2014 F34 and supplies 8.36v to the display. I have three screens, a 2014 L6 CID MU, a 2014 L7 CID High and a 2012 L7 CID Mid. The screens all have the dark red connector and the head unit has pink. All say No Signal when powered up.
I know I need a CAN Bus message to simulate the ignition being on but I was hoping someone can supply the correct pin-out for the display cable and confirm if these displays are even compatible. Finally I have read everywhere these units have to be coded to the car to work but clearly people have them showing working screens out of the car, should the radio, phone and sat nav still work on the bench? Is it just the car sensors that don't work? |
