Ive done some searching but cant find the answer

I have a 2009 E93 320i 140k miles and engine works ok but not sounding at its beat

Have sourced another 2009 320i car and the engine runs and sounds sweet.

If i swap the engine over is it just an injector recode through INPA i need to do?

Yeh both are n43b20a

Can i also test the replacement engine once ive fitted it with the original engines injectors without coding?

Also my original dash gauges have a few scuffs n scrapes can i simply swap them over or will the different milages cause an issue.

I stripped down the front end of the donor today and ready to pull the engine this weekend

I will change the timing chain before removing it and Will fit a new clutch before installing it

I am stripping the parts off the 2 donors ( both touring se specs) i have 2006 320i auto n54 and 2010 320i manual n43 and will list them in the for sale section if anyone needs any thing before they are crushed

injector recoding was only for diesel injectors
you need to ensure that all injectors have similar revision , this is last number after dash in injector part number
