I need to reserve my judgement. Maybe its the color. It looks like a friggin boat. :-( We'll see in a couple weeks.

Oookay, I take that back. I found some hot shots!! Flat red is not a bimmer color IMHO.

Which cars is this supposed to compete with? I ask because it looks more Miata-like than Corvette-like.

Hard to judge it's looks with all that masking but if it drives well, then it could be near the top of my list when I come to replace my Boxster.

Not really, and if you think thats large, look at the new 7. The 1er's grills even seem large to some people.

I hope not but with that folding roof mech & extra safety features who knows!

Would be a nice surprise if it were lighter than the current Z4.

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. Driving e82, e72, e85, R53 Gone but not forgotten.. 1974 2002, many various 3s.
