caused minor accident to loaner
i just took in my car for check up and they gave me a bmw 328i for a loaner. i ran over a cat on the highway which caused some damage to the front bumper and caused the lower light to break off of the bumper
is bmw going to cause make me pay for the repairs? will there check up of the car be real extensive? |

that sucks, i always wondered what would BMW do when somebody damaged the loaner, but didn't want to find out by actually happening to someone. i am sure they are going to charge you in one way or another on your next payment.

When you sign off on that piece of paper, you assumed responsibility of all the damages while you are in possession of the loaner car.

it's just like a rental vehicle. Your insurance would have to cover the repair - meaning you have to pay for the deductible. And yes, your insurance would go up even though it is not your fault.

It sucks that it's still considered a collision. Either pay for it out of your pocket or be prepared to get hit with a fat bill x 3 years......
