SoCal Alignment shop

Hey, do you guys know where to get an alignment in socal around downtown? I don't feel like paying the 230 at the stealership... Thanks..

Oh and Btw, how come there's a Norcal auto shop list, but no socal one? We should start a new thread and sticky it.

Hit up King's Tire in El Monte, it's worth the drive. They give great deals to e90/e92's and they use the same Hunter alignment machines.

C'mon Van. There are a ton of places that can do an equal or better job than the dealer, for 1/2 the price.

West End Alignment HANDS DOWN! Darin is the man. All of the hobbyists from S2k, Z/G, M, etc. owners take their cars there. He can corner balance as well, if you're on coilovers. The only 'con' is you gotta make your appointment quite in advance, a week +.

I recommend West End Alignment but you must book in advance.

Others have seemed to like Shoreline Motoring in HB. They both do corner balancing also.

I've take all my cars to Darrin at West End for the last 6+ years. He's a perfectionist, and will get it perfect, within the limits of adjustment. He's in Gardena though, which might be a little far for you.

Thanks guys, I'm scheduled for Thursday with West End...he's closer to downtown than LN. I was just wondering though for a stupid question; if i pull a wheel off to clean it; when it mess up the alignment?

No, you'll be fine.

If you have coilovers he can corner balance and also adjust your ride height if you like. Obviously, get this done pre-alignment.

West End is nice and all if you are jobless or are not going to school on weekdays. He does not work on the weekends which is very inconvenient for some people. However, if you are available during the weekdays then you are free to make an appointment with them.

That was the issue I had a while back when I had to align my Evo. I was going to school M-F. I skipped a class one day to make the drive down, lol.

West End. I won't let anybody else touch my P-car.

fyi, racing season is coming up and he'll be tied up, so expect more than the usual 1-2 week waiting list.
