10 cent bumper plug

i was searching around for bumper plugs and found these little things. they were $2.50 for 24 pcs. no drilling, just a drop of glue and your set. i think they kind of look like sensors of some sort.

i think it would only work for dark colored cars. what do yall think?

home depot. the item number is 88914. they are about halfway down the hardware aisle right near the shelf brackets (the things that plugs into the holes a cabinet so that you can put a shelf on them)
i figure that if 1 ever came of during a car wash or whatever, ive got ~20 reserves.
