ED Extra Lease Money Factor mark up?

I just read Irv's website info and it states there is an extra .0003 MF for doing ED. Is this a BMW FS fee or unique to Irv's dealership and part of his service for no doubt offering excellent advice and service?

Just wondering what to expect so my dealer doesn't 'muddy the waters' with unnecessary mark ups.

Thanks.

BMWFS pay for your first 2 months lease (lease starts after pickup in Germany). This ED Adder basically is to cover that cost.
You can add MSD's (extra deposits which are totally refundable at lease end. One MSD is your monthly lease rounded up to nearest $50. Each MSD drops the MF by 0.00007 or total .00049 for max 7 MSD (returning customer). You might want to look at that.
Generally you can make 10-20% interest on your deposits (i.e shave that amount off your lease payments total)

I though BMW makes your second payment NOT your first two? The first is made to your dealer prior to your trip isn't it?

But yes, the adder is to cover the second payment which is made while your ship is on the boat.

That could be the case, they definitely pick up one payment.

Thanks guys. Anyone got recommendations for locking rates on an ED for may 15 delivery or since there is a 60 day lock, do I just end up being exposed to whatever the going rate is at the time or do they have some special exemption for ED since one has to book these things further than 60 days to ensure the date works with travel schedules etc.

I guess i'll hear all about it when I visit the dealer tomorrow.

Thanks again.
