DRL -> Always on Angel Eyes

Anyone have knowledge/experience if it is possible to rewire the DRL lights to the angel eyes so that if you activate DRL in the preferences menu your angel eyes are on instead of the DRL lights?

Seems like this would be the ultimate solution to having angel eyes on constantly but I don't know anything about the wiring that is involved, etc. Thought someone like longtran or Mds82 might have an idea on this.

I have seen older 5 series with only the angels and it is so cool. I think we have a few electrician on here so i am sure they are looking into this. Just hope they share it if they figure out the wiring...

I will ask my dealer when i goto drop the car to get the DRLs off I will ask them what I can do

DRLs can be turned off by the driver through the menu

You don't have to go to the dealer for that.

I would love to see a DIY on how to rewire the DRL to the angel eyes myself

Anybody is going to take a plunge?
