Oil Change w/ JB3.?
like the title reads is it safe? if i just take it in say i need a oil change and i will wait for it tell them i need it done as fast as possible
Thay just won't decide to tear open the ecu out of no ware right..lol |

Dude, remove the tune before taking the car to the dealer. Simple as that.
That way you have nothing to worry about. You knew what you were getting into when you bought the tune... |

I'd just leave 'er in there; I can't imagine they'd go through the trouble. Also, it's probably easier to just change the oil then to remove and then reinstall the tune.

Donald - check this thread out. Somebody had the same question, and 2 different BMW techs chimed in. I would listen to them over anybody else.

Don't get me wrong....I would agree, but my opinion wavered a bit after reading what the techs had to say.

I really dont think thats a good idea. The more you take it out and put it in the more experience you have. After a few times its real quick. dont risk it. my 2 cents.
