Question aftermarket dvd player in the x5 for my kid??

The wife has a e53 x5 and were looking to buy a simple dvd player for the little guy. Im wondering if any of you have some advice on what might be a good one and the best way to get it strapped into the car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Are you looking for one of those little portable ones that come in a zipper pouch or something that goes into the headrest? Give the guys at crutchfield a call, maybe they can help you out.

don't waste your money on an install and all that jazz. Just get a portable one for around $100 and a set of headphones.

You can either get a portable system or get a custom install. You get get a flipdown monitor in the back. In my H2, i hav a 10.4" flipdown in the back row and a 6.5" flipdown for the front seats. Theres also 12", 15", and 17" flipdowns. For a clean install, i would definately go custom. You can also get 6.5" screens in your headrests.

Costco has a nice one with a harness to strap to the headrest.
2 headphones
and a nice case to carry all the stuff.
Perfect for airplane, car, hotel room, etc.
