have you used any chemicals lately? or gone to any car washes?
this happens when acidic solutions react with crappy materials :/

what kind of wheels, have you washed with anything new lately/new carwash, do you live in areas with lots of salt/are you driving in it, and not cleaning your wheels?

Stone chips are corroding and the clear coat finish is then coming off.

Chemicals on aftermarket wheels is a big NO-NO. Only thing you can do now is have them refinished, usually isn't that cheap though.
