proper way to use a clay bar??

can some one do a DIY on the proper way to use a clay bar on a car... I know its very critical for the clay bar to work properly

it really doesn't matter, you can go in any direction just make sure to use lots of lube

Just try it -- it's a lot easier than you think. There isn't some magical method. Use lots of lube and move the clay around.

does auto zone have any decent clay bars? does it all come with lube?

They should. They usually have the blue Clay Magic kit which comes with a clay lube. Around $15

+1. By the way, I was told that Blue Clay holds the patent on the clay. I like blue clay better than Meguiare's. I haven't used CG's yet. they have 3 kind: soft, medium, and hard.
