Hi Guys, i have a E93 335 with procede v3.1 and stage1. The high map has user torgue settings at 90% and the low map has user torgue settings at 40% only.(I use the low map for daily driving).
Furthermore, on the low map, i set the torgue of 1st gear at 50% and the 2nd gear at 80%. The reason i made this is beacause i live in a small town and the roads have corners, hills and no great tarmac.
From the moment i installed the 1-5-2009 map although i reduced the user torgue as above i noticed that the power, with the low map, was the same or little greater than with the 7-11-2008 low map.
In additionally the boost gauge shows boost only 10psi, from 11.5 with the old maps and the throttle response is quickier.
With this setup i wondered how quick is my bmw and how much horsepower does it have........... UNTIL YESTERDAY.

I stop in a traffic light, in a good tarmac, and in front of me there was a M3 E46 coupe. I had also a friend in my bmw and that makes me have at least 250kg more weight than the M3 (My bmw is a cabrio).
I keep the low boost map, the traffic light turns green and the M3 slams it down. He throwed away 2 cars until my reaction of the green light..,
From the moment i was on wot he couldn't increase the distance and from the 3d gear i started to decrease the distance between us! (Remember that 1st, 2nd gear has less torgue settings as i mentioned). With 4th gear and 5500rpm i had almost reached his bumber so i let the gas.....
The M3 E46 had in papers 343hp (crank not on wheels), so with the extra weight i had (~250kg) i quess my horsepower with low map is ~350hp!!!!!! I am very very happy with this tune for daily driving (remember boost never exceeds 10-10.5psi)
Then i changed in high map while we were approaching a corner...., guess what?????
We reached another car in front of us going about 40Km. i put second gear, the M3 starts overtaking the other car, i am on wot and in 2 seconds i came again in the bumber of the m3. He finishing the overtaking, going on the right lane of the road again and as soon as i put 3d gear i start overtaking him...... He just wasn't believing it as he saw the rear of my car and noticed that i was only a 335 E93 with stock mufflers

Something is going wrong! Today i have spoken with the dealer who sold that m3 e46 to the driver which i raced with. The dealer told me that this M3 is a csl with program and estimated about 400crank hp!!!
Now, i wonder how is it posible that, with my setup settings of the low map, i was reaching that bmw m3!
I thought that the dealer must telling me lies about 400hp, and then i asked a few friends of mine, about this M3(i live in a small town) and 3 of them told me the same thing as the dealer. Furthemore they told me that the car has smg II with diferent excaust system and program.
The only thing i noticed at the race, was the bigger exhausts that m3 had.
Is there anyone that had measured the horsepower of procede but with low boost map???

You can't really have a true number unless you have it dyno'd....regardless you were pulling on him with your low boost map and with the high boost it wasn't a contest until I guess at higher speeds!

For some reason I cant run the default settings of the 1st and 2nd anything close to 100. I cant run the 90 percent settings on the tq either. Why do you think that is? Im running stage 0. Whats good for the heavy weight of my car.. I want just pure acceleration so not much wheel spin. Right now im using I think 75% 1st and 85% for 2nd

Sounds like you might need stickier tires. 1st is always an issue with traction.
