Welded/Bolted diff?
Gents,
Anyone with a 335/335d that knows what to look for when trying to work out if you have a bolted or welded differential? Maybe some pics if your being really handy lol!! No prizes for guessing why either... Cheers Matt |

If you ask Birds or Speedreligion, they can tell you from your VIN number (hoping to sell you an LSD of course!)
Much easier than splitting the diff casing to have a look! |

Sadly mate, they cant.
My VIN is smack between two that birds have done, and the later was welded and the earlier bolted, hence it looks 50/50 from their point of view. I have had this discussion with them Thanks for the advice though mate! Matt |
