Gotta hide it. Taking the reflectors out is nearly impossible without damaging the lights. You can buy something from JLevisw.com to cover the reflectors and it can be body color, or you can get vinyl tint to hide them. I personally have the entire headlight housing tinted and think it solves the problem well.

I don't know if you use this car as your daily, but Justin at AAC does fantastic work. And turn around time can be minimal if you plan properly. He started out his business specializing with the Lexus IS300 installing Angel Eyes, painting housing, and projector retrofits. His business has since taken off ever since. Really does great work. Maybe worth looking into for a quote at least.

No, for opening the lights up and removing the reflector. You basically have to 'break' the lights then glue them back together.

LoL, very much so.
I have done this with my 98 GMC Jimmy headlights, and that wasn't too bad. Heard the glue they use on the BMW lights is ridiculous though and crazy hard to get through without physically breaking the headlight Good luck though!
