Installed the procede on MY07 335i coupe yesterday. It has been doing just fine until a few minutes ago. CEL came on
![]() p0335, p0190, p0238, p0306. Something about high boost, crank sensor, fuel rail, and cylinder 6 misfire. It runs like crap (prob cause its running on 5 cylinders) ![]() ![]() |

I don't know what the codes mean, but it may be possible that you have a failed HPFP and 1-2 bad spark plugs.

These are the code descriptors:
P0190 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit High I think P0238 is overboost pressure detected on the intake side (post turbo). The rest seem self-evident. A misfire in cylinder 6, and a fuel pressure anomaly. Not sure how the crank sensor malfunction is related. The procede does alter the crank signal by a couple of degrees, but I don't see how this would result in a sensor failure. |

I have driven through about a half tank of gas with the procede in a day and a half. I went up to O'reillys to get a rubber mallet to help me install a set of H&R springs. As I was leaving the parking lot, the low fuel indicator came on. I gave it about 3/4 throttle to 4000-4500rpm's leaving the parking lot because there was traffic coming, then the light came on. An engineer at Vishnu previously told me that I have to start/stop the engine 5 times to reset the codes (this seems really weird to me btw) so I tried this but I still get the code. I then got a code reader and scanned the codes. I cleared all the codes but the CEL came on immediately after restart

I'm thinking electrical. I'd remove the cede, and see how it runs. If all is fine reinstall more carefully.

Still runs just as bad. OMG this sucks! This is my friends car, I have been taking care of it while he is in Iraq. He has been sending me parts to put on while he's been gone. He comes back on the 18th. I wanted it to be all done when he gets back. Damn

You removed the Procede, cleared the codes and it runs just as bad and throws the same codes? Do you have Rev I or II?

revII. I don't have access to a code reader right now. I did the 5 restarts like Vishnu told me... but I'm not sure that this works. I'm going to try disconnecting the battery. How long do I have to wait before reconnecting it?

^^yes is that bad? The instructions said nothing about disconnecting the battery. But it ran just fine for over a day.... and I drove it quite a bit.

That not entirely true, I let the car ECU go into sleep mode then I install or de--install the tune, nothing ever happens...I think it has to be either something came loose, but its weird that after taking it out the car still runs like shit....

I installed Rev i in my buddy's car few months ago, it also threw multi codes...than I double check the connection, I found out one of the connection when I plug in was shifted one space over. I than unplugged and line up replugged it, use the code reader to clear all the code, start the car and it was fine.
