Can you guys help me to decide...DP's or Exhaust first???

Hi guys,

I have currently Procede RevII + DCI and I'm wondering what would be the next best move. IC I'm having for sure but debatting between DP's and an exhaust! I can't have both at the same time now cause of a limited budget...
( need so much other nice stuff too )

I can't go totally catless, so I guess alternatives are:

Stock DP's + 2nd cat delete
Catless DP's + stock exhaust
Catless DP's + aftermarket Exhaus with HF cat's
DP's with HF cats + 2nd cat delete

Thanks guys

definitely downpipes first.
Nice sound plus higher gains.
You might like the sound enough to just put some nice tips on your stock exhaust

Which way you guys think is better??

Catted DP's + 2nd cat delete or
Catless DP's + 2nd cat's HF ( thoug it would be stock first )

Edit: you are quick to reply makes this one seem like I wasn't reading all the posts

for best performance gains w/ your current tune definetely do catless dp's next.. and leave everything else stock for now, I think you'll be very happy.. then if your budget permits get midpipes after that. I don't even think you'll want to change your stock exhaust with that setup. Keep us posted on what you decide..

I have catless downpipes + stock exhaust on my car and it definitely made a huge difference.

The sound is nice and mild when cruising, but once you get into the higher rpm's the car just screams.

Will car with catless downpipes still clear emissions in inspection?

its kinda pointless to get DP"S first cause ur stock exhaust is just gunna defeat the purpose of the airflow of the DP"S cause of the cats. exhaust then DP"S

I dont agree on this. The point of the Catlees dps is to offer no restriction at first , right after the turbos in order to make the spool faster and evacuate gasses. For a turbo car thats the most crucial part of the exhaust.

I agree... the stock exhaust is not terribly restrictive IMO

downpipes first, your turbos will spool faster and you will get more throttle response. exhaust will mainly serve as a weight reducer/ looks and slight power gains, unless you go with a full catless exhuast..

but I say DP's first.. the secondary cats (the ones on the exhaust) are useless so you won't get much restriction if you get catless dp's which would replace the primary cats, they will also reduce the weight.. the stock catted dp's are heavyy

I'm interested in this too....can you still pass inspection with catless dps?

Edit: I guess as long as they don't throw a code they'd be fine...they don't sniff anymore, right?

Go this route but start with catless DPs first
