manual/ race. thing is loud... sounds awesome though. honestly i'm VERY unimpressed with the quality of some of the mig welds. guys at the muffler shop were not impressed either. they said it looks like the welder kept running out of gas and they kept going back over it. if thats the case then i'm sure its a very uncommon problem, just sucks that its on mine. i dont have the tips on yet because i need to trim my bumper. i wonder if the tips chang the sounds at all.

haha ari we can once i put my real tires back on. i have a bubble the size of a golf ball in my winters so i dont feel like going any faster than i have to! you coming down to the meet tomorrow?

Strange, my welds looked perfect. When I drove around the other week without the tips (quads), the sound was indeed different.

It's hard to describe. It seemed louder since the outlet of the muffler was still under the bumper, and it sort of resonated more (not drone, but more "echoed"). It was distinctly different.

just threw my tips on for a test drive, i have them stacked like an isf... looks funny as hell. the sound is indeed 10 times better with the tips on. it was resonating so much with out them but now its almost perfect. still a bit loud around 2700rpm and light load

You change out sections 1 and 2 also, or just the section 3?
